I'm a one-woman, forward-thinking, technology-embracing company, specializing in Arabic Type Design, as well as the broad digital possibilities of Arabic letters.

I collaborate with companies and agencies on projects involving Arabic type or lettering (from logotypes to creating word shapes that will be seen from space), and my favorite work is to craft custom Arabic typefaces that can bring the Arabic script to higher levels of modernity, expressivity, and technical finesse.

Throughout my career and to this day, I continuously explore individual methods and techniques to make Arabic typefaces that challenge technology, respect the authenticity of Arabic script, and keep in mind the local (or international) communities that use them.

I enjoy regularly teaching, mentoring students, and speaking at type conferences and design events around the world. In March 2016, I co-founded “Arabic Type Design - Beirut”; the first international educational program dedicated to Arabic type design.
